Great pep talk. I fully understand what you mean, because I like photography and I love bowling. If I dedicated as much time and passion to photography as I do to bowling I woul bean awesome photographer . I have a bieling journal and everything . I write down very specific items such as angle of hand at release , pain level of body that day, temperature , humidity. I get very technical.

Thanks for the insight and interesting thoughts. Was the book you were referring to “Outliers” by Malcolm Gladwell ? I do not see a book by him called the Talent Myth but maybe I misheard something.
I think the missing piece is Passion. I know people who have a ton of talent but no passion to do anything with it. With photography, someone with some talent but knows business can make more money than the other way around.

That is SO true, it’s scary! I’m the worst offender too. Gotta devote more time. Thanks for the Podcast.
