The version II of the Tokina 11-16mm lens is definitely your best option, here. It's also a decent landscape and wide angle lens for other purposes as well. While I prefer the Canon 10-18mm lens for dedicated landscape work, the Tokina 11-16 is a close second. For night photography, though, it's the Tokina.
