- Muslin (fabric) – $$$$ elaborate texture and designs
- Muslin (fabric) – solid colors, simple
- Seamless paper – variety of colors, lots of options and sizes (can be hung using backdrop stand or on a wall mount)
- Vinyl – long lasting, can be easily cleaned. (Cons: tends to be reflective)
- Pop up backdrop (similar to a reflector great for headshots.) Found Here

- Painted Canvas drop cloth
- Wall paper on particle board
- Painting a wall (use matte interior paint)
- Sequin table cloth – make sure to pull subject away from background as much as possible to maximize sparkly bokeh
