- Very sharp
- Fast autofocus
- Also works great for indoor sports
- Excellent bokeh for portraits
- Great for indoor and low light situations
- Slightly soft around the corners, but they are usually out of focus anyway
This choice is pretty easy. I would absolutely recommend a Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 as my first choice. It's a fantastic lens, but it costs over $1,000. So if that's not in the budget, go to choice two, and three, and four. The 85mm is another very good lens and is much less expensive, but also less versatile. This is really a budget-driven decision.
