Tradeoffs
- A fixed focal length cannot replace a zoom; check your working distance.
Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
A short telephoto portrait option when you have room to step back from your subject.

Tradeoffs
- Indoors or on a crop-sensor body its field of view can be tight.
