For the Nikon full frame system, the Nikon 28-300 is king of the hill without any close competitors. It's decently priced and offers great quality for a superzoom. I still wouldn't mind if Nikon made a 24-105mm f/4 like Canon's, but the 28-300 is a good option if you want to glue one lens on your camera and leave it there for a while.
