  2. It took me a long time to accept that improving a photo in Photoshop was OK. I used to photograph huge chandeliers for a big firms catalogue and spend up to 4 hours lighting and straightening each crystal before I took the photo. Suddenly I realised, there is no difference between fiddling before the photo is taken or afterwards in Photoshop as long as the end result does not mislead.
